Do you know of any store, anytime in history that has provided a "HIGHER-(AAA)" if they were low on "AA" standard. Most major markets don't even offer "AAA" beef. Pisses me off!! There are a variety of products being sold. There were lots of chinese new year promotions and different varieties of chinese cakes.The vegetables were all fresh and there were many kinds of each vegetables. I found there were5 kinds of egg plants available( compared 2 kinds in a regular grocery store).It is an absolutely amazing experience to shop there! My co worker was in the Fergus store and asked about any specials on car starters and was told by two different staff that there weren't any on sale. When she went to work she was told by another co worker that the starters were indeed on sale. Annoyed by staff attitude at her store she went to Powerline to make her purchase. It would help if the flyers online were updated prior to the "end" of the previous. This has happened to me a number of times and I think, we, the consumer, should be allowed to sue them for false-advertising. I have wasted my time and gas on numerous occasions looking for a product just to be told they were sold out. I will not mention the stores or the products. If a store sells so many of a particular item, why not order twice as much of it. I think this is a case of bad management. I run a photolab dept. and have since our opening in 2004. Since we have opened i have seen many changes, none that are good. Nofrills is part of the Loblaws family along with many other grocery stores. I am writting this note in regards to the lack of store support from head office. What are these people doing all day, beside coming up with more ideas to screw up our overall business. I never get any information on up coming promo, prices,changes in merchandise and stock. My photo equipment is always breaking down and we are losing business like crazy. I am so frustrated with this mickey mouse company and the lack of interest for their clientel that it makes me sick. I would like to apologize to all photolab customers who use our services and hope that they understand that as an employee of this company that i and my staff are very sorry. To the Kodak company that i deal with on a regular basis, concerning your Kodak printing machines and the ongoing problems with new programs. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. You charge the owners hundreds of dollars for supplies and hundreds of dollars for a service phone call. But when something goes wrong with your machines you refuse to come and fix them. In closing i would like to note that Loblaws as a whole needs to seriously look into their photolabs and start taking action. We are losing business and i am seriously tired of getting my ass chewed by customers when my lab is not up to par. We picked up two of certain items we thought were on special. Very misleading as I and my husband both thought the Milk, butter, eggs, mini sizzlers, Schneider's weiners were all on special. I checked my bill when I got home and was shocked that regular prices were charged. I phoned the store and was told they have no control over flyers. Your flyers are totally misleading. I showed it to people here at work and they agree as well. I find this a very shody and cheating way to advertise. I have been shopping at No Frills for years and this has turned me right off. Our average grocery bill is $150.00 a week. The exact amount on our yesterday's bill by the way. I'm disappointed that you would stoop this low. Consider me an ex-customer. Loblaws, No Frills, Fortinos, the Real Canadian Superstore, etc.) do not advertise on this website. It is because their flyers are not nationwide -- the flyers are different depending on where you live. For example, my No Frills flyer in Oakville, Ontario is different from my sister's in St. Catherine's, Ontario. The stores will not honour any advertised price (nor should they) if it is not their location's flyer. This is the reason why when you use their websites they ask for your location. This is also the reason why they cannot ask Flyermall to post their flyers. For many sites I can go directly to their site to view the flyer, but I find it much more convenient to see them all at flyermall. But sometimes the image resolution leaves much to be desired, especially where a flyer has lots of fine print that may be important (eg technical specifications of items). I realize that not everybody has a high speed network connection. So it important to have both lower resolution and higher resolution images and that the higher resolution images should be optional. Today, I browsed the Classified Ads section for the first time and found it cluttered and out-of-date. Some ads are more than a year old and I have no way of knowing which ones are still available. I have a feeling many people don't delete their ads even though their transactions are finished. Is it possible to put a time limit on these ads (e.g. 2 months)? Or maybe give people the option of choosing how long they want their ad to be posted? That way, the outdated ads can be gone and people can actually see what goods/services are currently available. I am a consumer, and do not buy 20kg or 40kg bags of Pistachios as mentioned in the recall notice from the CFIA. Should my wife monitor my health just in case I have liver disease or die before making any type of complaint? The alert says S.A.M (I have no idea what a S.A.M Pistachio Kernel is) Pistachio Kernel, product of Iran, packaged in 10 kg. white coloured boxes with a Lot No. 48 which may have been sold in bulk or may have been repackaged into smaller packages of various sizes. WHAT THE HELL DO THIS MEAN TO ME? The alert says may be contaminated with Aflatoxin. Excuse me for saying so, but where the f&&k is the warning to the public for the statment of recall, if not only for the website? You mean, that if I did not see this alert on the website, where else would I, being the Pistachio lover that I am, would be able to get informed about the recall? How many other individuals may be affected by products where recall information may not be properly distributed, who really need this information. How many people have died from this very serious contaminant which may be covered up? How many tonnes of product has been brought into Canada, and how many tonnes have been captured, and what was the accountability of the product thereafter? The purpose of the CFIA, is to keep the public away from reckless harm, and too protect all consumers. This warning has a lot of ambiguity to it. The report says may contain, does it mean that it does? or it does not? I am just a concerned individual who will now stop buying Pistachios, where it has always been a snack I give to guests of my house, and enjoy tremendously myself. Now, I can view the ads online without relying on flyer delivery since I don't get flyers delivered where I am and hate having to ask for the flyers or get them when I visit the stores and then quickly scan them for what I need. This week you introduced an index icon which automatically appears on the right-hand side of every flyer and moves down each page as it is scrolled. This is a real annoyance; the size and placement of the icon covers up key price information and it acts as a unwanted distraction on pages that are already busy enough with tons of facts and graphics. Do your users and advertisers a favour and tell your web master to dump it. Otherwise, keep up the good work! I live around Dension & Kennedy intersection and this new supermarket opened called Denison Supermarket. This place is unbelievable, the price are so low. My mom said this place has the lowest price for produce she has ever seen. Not only the produce prices are low also its grocery and meat. They have so many deal its mind boggling. I only used to know what the No Frills sells just around the corner from my house. I can tell you that most of the flyers advertise bananas at .39. Lettuce from .69 to .79 cents per head. Brocoli from .99 to 1.29 per bunch. Why do they not summarize these items in one area of their flyer without the picture of the banana, because I do beleive that everyone knows what the banana looks like, or the cauliflour for that matter, or any other products including lemon, orange, ground beef, cantelope, etc... I would rather see the stores putting more variety of brand names items on their flyer, so I can really shop around for favourite brand. Just my two cents worth. I would like to know why you do not post flyers from all the stores at all times. Is this something that is misplaced, or does the stores not submit them on time? How does the system work, and is there anything that can be done to update more frequently? Why do some of these stores have weekly flyers? Can they not move to a monthly flyer, instead of displaying the same items again and again.
