ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE 1

BY SPYROS PETER GOUDAS

I found the time to select the best articles and videos related to the issue and believe me that was not easy watching nor was it entertaining. Everything I read was dreadful and heartbreaking.

Dear friends and visitors of FlyerMall.com:

Alzheimer's issue is not something that I post for flyer advertising purposes.

The matter is very complicated and as we examined and viewed all the links, I have come to the conclusion that Alzheimer's can affect you, me, or anybody regardless of age.

Obviously, this particular link that I have incorporated is not something that someone suffering from Alzheimer's could view or understand, but it can be very helpful for relatives, friends, associates, and caregivers.

The problem is bigger than anyone can imagine, it takes a lot of patience and understanding to cope with the situation by trying to accommodate a loved one with this illness.

Google has hundreds of links about the issue, including some instances where several doctors or practitioners claim that they have a cure, we choose not to include these links since there is no reliable information from any government or institution supporting the facts that Alzheimer's and dementia are curable.

In fact, these claims may prolong the disease, but still, we do not see any proof of this.

We have selected several links from serious organizations that obviously do not convey any happy news.

Nevertheless, it is advisable to view each of them with patience and understanding, and in some instances, it may be very helpful to you if one of your family members becomes afflicted with this disease by making you familiar with issues you may face.

I will continue to monitor developments in Alzheimer's and will stay alert for positive news or studies regarding a cure for this disease.

Thank you so much for viewing these articles and for visiting FlyerMall.com

Difference Between Alzheimer's and Dementia

Dementia & Challenging behavior Documentary

Caring at home for a person with dementia is a demanding role. Caring for a loved one with dementia poses many challenges for families and caregivers.

People with dementia from conditions such as Alzheimer’s and related diseases have a progressive brain disorder that makes it more and more difficult for them to remember things, think clearly, communicate with others, or take care of themselves.

In addition, dementia can cause mood swings and even change a person’s personality and behavior. More than half of all people with dementia experience behavioral symptoms of their condition, including becoming more prone to aggression.

Other behavioral symptoms may include restlessness, depression, psychosis, or loss of inhibitions. Aggressive behavior, in particular, is a major source of distress for both people with dementia and their carers.

These symptoms may be a result of physical discomfort from a cold or urinary infection, for example, or they could be caused by damage to the part of the brain that regulates behavior.

Aggression may also be a reaction to a person with dementia being unable to understand the world around them. Relieving behavioral symptoms of dementia can be relieved in many cases by training carers in how to deal with these symptoms, and by treatment with anti-dementia drugs.

Around 40 percent of residents in dementia care homes are prescribed neuroleptic drugs to relieve these behavioral symptoms. These drugs are not licensed to treat dementia and can have dangerous side effects, including excessive sedation, dizziness, and unsteadiness.

Licensed anti-dementia drugs (Aricept, Exelon, Reminyl, and Ebixa) have been shown to be also effective at relieving behavioral symptoms, in addition to other benefits, without dangerous side effects.

Research also shows that when carers are trained in treating people with dementia, challenging behavior can be reduced. However, despite 75 percent of care home residents having dementia, only 10 percent of staff are trained in dementia care

My father's behavior in the moderate stages

I am uploading this to help dispel the notion that Alzheimer's disease just makes you forgetful.

It is a Fatal disease that slowly kills your brain over the course of years.

There is no cure or even any treatment to slow the progression of the disease.

My father clings to some of the sense of doing chores, but just wanders around the house constantly doing things like this. I lost my mother to cancer nearly twenty years ago, and I think this disease is far far worse.

My dad served his country as An infantryman in Vietnam and then served as a police officer in the city of Detroit for 15 years before having to retire on medical disability after his patrol car was hit by a drunk driver.
He does not deserve to spend his retirement like this.

Strum along with Aldrine, Kahea Hamakua, and Randell Giminiz as they play "Aloha 'Oe" by Queen Liliuokalani.

The ling below takes you to the story of Queen Liliuokalani the first sovereign queen, and the last monarch of Hawai‘i, who assumed the throne in the midst of a government takeover by American business owners supported by the U.S. military. The story by Meleanna Aluli Meyer is something closer to the truth

Hello everybody,

My name is Peter Spyros Goudas and I created this article to the best of my ability.

Many people in Canada and other countries know some of my products.

I created in my lifetime over 1250 of some of the best products in the world

All along, I was trying to make products without chemicals, MSG, potassium chloride, aspartame, colors, beta-carotene, GMO, and artificial flavors, and many more.

I endeavored to make a choice between dehydrated and fresh vegetables and although that was a very costly decision, I did ALL my soups with fresh vegetables.

I have also carefully selected the countries where I get the raw materials; despite the fact that the competition tried to kill me by lowering their prices to put me out of business.

In the end, I survived for almost 50 years and I have received countless compliments from consumers

Today, I am very proud to say that I have never had not even an A1 recall and in fact, I have received an acknowledgment from the CFIA Canadian Food Inspection Agency for 49 years.

As well, I was granted the unbelievable 98% score from one of the largest organizations in the world, Wal-Mart who has given me upon a thorough inspection of my premises.

Of course, this is unusual for any company to receive such a high score.
Most of the best companies in the world score 70% to 80%.

Although everybody in my organization was very happy to receive this news, I was very disappointed due to the fact that I did not receive the 100% mark.

Of course, there are food critics out there who comment for instance; Mr. Goudas’ soups need more salt, therefore the taste needs to be upgraded.

The logic behind this is: If I have to put too much salt, no one would be able to adjust it to the desired taste.

It was always a cause of apprehension and unnerving for all of my suppliers throughout the years when I asked them to come to Canada to meet me for their training purposes.

Around the year 2000, I ended up supporting an organization for the blind.

This is another segment of the humanitarian work I have done throughout the years.

I reflected for a moment: What does a blind person really need to have when shopping?

Obviously, they most definitely need the ability to identify what was in the cans based on their feeling, handling, and by touching the code as engraved at the bottom of the container in lieu of a barcode.

The blind population has a visual challenge with the code.
While alone in my office, I came up with an idea: How do I resolve this issue?

I consulted a friend who was working for a company that specializes in flavors and aromas and I asked him to create an intensive perfume of a tomato field, a pineapple field, peach, mandarin, and so on…

These fragrances were dispatched by me to the label printers around the world which will match the corresponding canned containers.

I did quite a few similar products so when a blind person walks through a market, the intense aroma from the field dispersed by the label will help the blind identify the food content of the canned product.

That not only helps them at the store level but also at home when they pick up a can from their pantry.

Of course, I was not able to put different fragrances to make in different categories.

For instance, I had one tomato scent in the can regardless of the fact, that it was the whole tomato, crushed, diced tomato, or tomato paste.

An article about this innovative idea was published in the Toronto Star at the time.

That was one of the most expensive ideas I ever had.

I will like to make a parenthesis here to let you know that at the time I did not know that I will become bling in the next few years.

View the story in my book miracles still, do happens

Miracles Still Do Happen is an inspiring tale that will leave its readers with a positive and hopeful message that is definitely worth passing on to others.

"Initially, I intended to call this booklet Floaters but I changed it to the title above and as you go through the story, you will understand why..."

This moving true story reminds us that what goes around comes around in that good things will happen to people.

Quite some time ago, I heard the word: “Alzheimer’s, but I never really put so much attention to this word until recently when a friend of mine informed me that his wife has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

As time went by, I heard about Alzheimer’s much more often.

Certainly, I heard a favorite actor of mine by the name of Charlton Heston suffering from the disease and he made a documentary explaining to the general public that this is going to be the last communication with the world since he knew that he will be declining to the point that he no longer recognizes anyone and he will probably forget everything that he knew and his personality will change as well.

So then I thought to myself: If he can get Alzheimer’s Disease, what’s preventing me or you from getting this disease?

Following up on this incident of the actor, I tried to study as much as I can about Alzheimer’s and dementia in our daily lives, and questions flew through my mind.

Is this problem related to the food, the weather, a combination of the two, worries, old age, lifestyle habits, environmental pollution, education, etc? The questions are endless and the answers even more!.

I decided to make this link in the article explaining to you the word Alzheimer’s disease by portraying very reliable websites and professionally sourced data from authorities on the subject.

Prior to posting these links, there are hundreds of documents on the internet beginning with Wikipedia, Orthopedia, Macromedia, and all other Pedias as well as videos.

I found the time to select the best articles and videos related to the issue and believe me that was not easy watching nor was it entertaining.  Everything I read was dreadful and heartbreaking.

For someone who has Alzheimer's, does not really understand but for those who care for them and their loved ones, to the homes where staffs care for them and their caregivers, it is a devastating story everywhere.

In this article, I will not try to sell you any treatment or approaches in caring for those affected by the dreadful illness, but since I posted these videos and articles quite a few people reached out and explained to me their experiences of caring for loved ones or how difficult a job it is.

Every so often I have visited their houses for coffee and witnessed with my own eyes the effects, I will not go into details and behaviors of those affected, and I have already posted enough videos that readers can view on their own.

As I was reading one of the articles and looking at it in-depth, something extraordinarily hit me in the head like a baseball bat. Since that time, I am not trying to focus on the cure of the disease, but exactly the opposite of the cause of Alzheimer’s.

Spyros Peter Goudas Since that time, I am not trying to focus on the cure of the disease, but exactly the opposite the cause of the Alzheimer’s.

Looking at the map of the world, that portraits the percentage of Alzheimer’s disease by country, will tell you that Canada and Russia are in the same position and yet Canada is one of the highest, while Russia is one of the lowest, therefore geographical positions is not a factor, the same applies to the weather.

Old age is not really a factor either because the disease does not discriminate against age, color, or religion.

One thing that surprised me while concentrating on the map is the highest level of Alzheimer's victims.

It is shocking to see that Finland with 53.77 while Russia, a neighboring country with only  2.17.
Why this tremendous difference?

Why South Korea has 12.32 and North Korea, 2.20?

Why of the whole continent of Africa with almost non-existent Alzheimer's disease, suddenly, South Africa is joining the ranks with high marks? And most importantly, Suriname with zero and their neighbor Brazil with 12.56?

Is it because they concentrate too much on the soccer game according to some people?

And why the US and Canada are at the highest rank?

I came to the conclusion that countries that have higher marks have some things in common.

I have inquired and learned about their eating habits since I know about the food industry and perhaps I have to learn about their lifestyle.

They too have some things in common.

Of course, it appears that it is not an easy task; however, I think it will take a lot of time and knowledge to be able to come to any conclusion.

I mentioned above that I would like to investigate and find the cause of the problem.

If you are on the same page that I am, and you have already discovered something or have an idea of why then please send your discovery to sales@flyermall.com so that I may examine your findings.

The main point of this is to find the cause of this illness and not the solution and recommended medication.

Thank you very much for viewing this article.

Since I created this article on Alzheimer’s Disease, it has sparked the interest of quite a few people, many of which communicated with me and share their thoughts and experiences with this deadly disease.
As stated before. I am not focusing on a cure at this point.

Below is a letter that I recently received from a professional who contacts me who shared their insights on this terrible illness and wish to remain anonymous.

Dear Mr. Spyros Peter Goudas

I like to point out certain things in reference to my research,

Alzheimer‘s Disease is no tall story. It has taken epidemic proportions. We live here in the US and Canada, where the incidence of deaths from Alzheimer’s Disease is 8 to 10 times higher than most parts of the world; and from 2005 to now, statistics show that the number of Alzheimer-related deaths has increased by a whopping 65%.

This is taking the shape of an ongoing nightmare in America. What’s more shocking is that those immigrating here from countries where Alzheimer’s Disease is nearly non-existent are plagued by the same disease:

They embraced the new land, and this disease welcomes them with open arms.

They become 1.5 times predisposed to getting the deadly diagnosis.
This proves that Alzheimer’s disease does not rely solely on genetic predispositions.

Exposure to toxic chemicals, environmental pollutants, lead and mercury exposures, an increasingly sedentary way of living along lack of social, physical, and mental activities, have all been closely linked to the incidence of Alzheimer’s here in Canada and in the US.

Furthermore, countries with low Alzheimer-related death have a diet that closely matches a Mediterranean diet, which consists of low sugar, good olive oils, fish, whole grains, fresh vegetables, and legumes as well as all kinds of nuts. These foods have been linked to a substantial decrease in the odds of Alzheimer’s Disease.

If you wish, you can publish my letter in the interest of the general public. May this letter be a contributing factor to your research and we sincerely thank you for using your keyboard to improve our lives.

The above video is self-explanatory. We rely on good companies to provide truthful labels with accurate content.

The average consumer is completely disoriented upon arrival at the grocery store. In the back of their minds, they believe that they should trust the labels, from companies and products they have been buying for years.

It comes to the point that the general public depends on a good brand of many years of purchasing their products that at least there will be some kind of confidence that they can rely on.

Apparently, that is not the case.    So what the public will have to do?

Just imagine if they pick up the best brands and they have issues. What happened to their unknown brands? Basically, the general public is at the mercy of misleading information in the interest of making a buck.

Of course, I am not here to say that food is a major factor in Alzheimer’s disease.
A little misprint in the Nutrition Fact panel will not harm anyone, but if such an apparent innocent mistake was intentionally placed there, this takes the shape of a criminal offense and the perpetrating companies or the individuals involved should be accountable.

Of course, somebody wondering how is it possible for companies such as Kraft, Campbell, Kelloggs, McCain, Carnation, and countless others that we grew up with could be behind this misleading information within the label.

Obviously, someone will wonder what is the federal government's role in this and what is being done about this. The answer is yes, and is clearly within the following paragraphs
